"Sare"  (pronounced "Sa-Ray") means "All" in Hindi. The core concept of our company is to connect local customers to local chefs and food providers. By keeping everything close to home, we can promote local business and culinary talent even as we provide delicious meals to customers in the St. Louis area. Everything is made here in town by chefs that meet our high standards and are delivered by our own staff. Our business model keeps everything close to home. How Did We Get Started?

Like many of us, back in 2017, Vinny Sharma was looking for a way to cut down on the effort involved to eat delicious and healthy meals without having to go to restaurants all the time.

 

He hoped to find a local company that delivered prepared meals, but he couldn’t find a good one. He tried subscribing to a meal-kit service, but he still had to chop, cook, and clean up after every meal, so his meals ended up being high-priced and not very convenient. Next, he tried subscribing to a meals delivery company, but that didn't work either because it was too easy to forget to check the menu options each week, and the portion sizes left him hungry. He found himself eating the same boring stuff week after week until finally, he gave up on that as well. That’s when he started SareFood.com. Since then, the company has built a roster of local chefs and bakers who cook up mouth-watering meals week after week, satisfying people all over the St. Louis area.
